# Supported Networks

> 24 chains across EVM, Solana, Bitcoin, and Sui — each on a named endpoint.

Agent Wallet supports 24 chains across four ecosystems. When you create a District Pass, wallets for every ecosystem are provisioned automatically — one identity, every chain below.

The list is explicit. A chain that is not on it is refused up front with `INVALID_CHAIN`, rather than accepted and failed at the point of signing.

## How chains are served

Every chain resolves to exactly one endpoint, and endpoints come in two tiers.

| Tier | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Dedicated** | A paid, authenticated node reserved for Finance District. Consistent latency and throughput, and the tier we recommend for production volume. |
| **Best-effort** | The chain's own public endpoint, operated by the team that runs the chain — Optimism's `mainnet.optimism.io`, Avalanche's `api.avax.network`, and so on. Correct and current, but rate-limited and offered without an availability guarantee. |

A chain never silently moves between tiers. If its endpoint is unavailable the call fails and says so, rather than quietly falling back to an unknown node.

## Naming a chain

`chainKey` accepts any of these, case-insensitively:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Chain ID" icon="hashtag">
    `8453`, `137`, `42161`
  </Card>

  <Card title="CAIP-2" icon="link">
    `eip155:8453`, `eip155:137`
  </Card>

  <Card title="Name or short name" icon="tag">
    `Base`, `base`, `eth`, `arb1`, `pol`, `avax`, `btc`
  </Card>

  <Card title="Common alias" icon="wand-magic-sparkles">
    `arb`, `op`, `matic`, `sol`, `fuji`
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

Aliases recognised for each chain:

## Need a chain that isn't here?

Ask for it. Use the `reportIssue` tool with `chain-request` in its `labels`, and the
request goes straight to the team that provisions endpoints.

Name the chain in the title. In the description, give the reasoning — **what you would do
on that chain, in what volume, and by when** — and the assets you need, since a chain with
no USDC deployment is a different piece of work from one with it. Report only what the
user actually told you; a chain name on its own is fine, and invented volumes are worse
than none.

<Note>
  Calling a tool with an unsupported `chainKey` already registers quiet interest, so you
  are never penalised for trying. But an explicit `reportIssue` carries the reasoning, and
  that is what gets acted on.
</Note>

## Feature availability by ecosystem

| Feature | EVM | Solana | Bitcoin | Sui |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Transfer tokens | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Swap tokens | ✓ | ✓ | — | — |
| Yield (deposit / withdraw) | ✓ | — | — | — |
| Sign message (EIP-191 / EIP-712) | ✓ | — | — | — |

<Note>
  Yield tools (`discoverYieldStrategies`, `depositForYield`, `withdrawFromYield`) are EVM-only.
</Note>

<Note>
  **Sui: transfers only.** Swap, yield, and message-signing tools are not available on Sui.
</Note>

## Testing

Use a testnet from the table above to validate an integration end to end — every tool behaves identically to mainnet. Base Sepolia and Polygon Amoy are the best-covered, both on dedicated endpoints with faucet-funded tokens available.
